Looking for a one-of-a-kind Colorado venue? Cherokee Ranch & Castle offers a spectacular setting for corporate meetings, executive retreats, nonprofit galas, holiday parties, private celebrations, and special events—all surrounded by 3,400 acres of protected ranchland just minutes from Denver, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, and the Denver Tech Center.
Choose from a variety of unique event spaces, including the historic Castle Great Hall, the elegant Veranda Tent, the front Courtyard, the scenic back Terrace, and the beautifully restored Picnic House overlooking the ranch. From intimate gatherings of 20 to celebrations of up to 150 guests, our flexible venues can be customized to fit your vision.
Every event includes the support of our experienced Private Events Team, along with optional docent-led tours that allow guests to discover the Castle’s rich history, remarkable art collection, and the enduring legacy of Mildred “Tweet” Kimball.

PRivate event details
- 5-hour minimum booking (inclusive of at least 1.5-hour set-up and 1-hour clean-up) includes multiple spaces i.e. the Veranda Tent (clear side panels, silk-draped ceiling with strands of lights and stellar night skies), majestic Castle Great Hall, front Courtyard and/or covered Terrace with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains.
- Castle provides the use of existing tables and chairs and holds on-site planning meetings with staff and vendors.
- Castle exploration with knowledgeable docents
- Rental package is based on the venue space. A non-profit rate is available.
- Catering, table-setting rentals, and alcohol are additional. Select a caterer from our list of approved catering partners; linens and other rentals will be obtained through our exclusive partner, Event Rents.
- The Castle holds the liquor license; therefore, all alcohol will be ordered from the Castle. No outside alcohol is permitted.
- $1000 Refundable Damage Deposit on event particulars.
- Cherokee Ranch Security Detail is charged to renter; detail must be present at all events.
- Cherokee Ranch is happy to accept your personal check; payments made electronically incur 3.85% processing fee
- Certificate of Commercial general liability insurance (CGL) is required outlining coverage of two million dollars.
- Cherokee Ranch & Castle is a protected property; smoking and vaping are NOT permitted.
