Cherokee Ranch & Castle

Community Report

A LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dear Cherokee Ranch & Castle Community,

As we reflect on 2025, we are grateful for all that was accomplished and encouraged by the momentum we built together. This year, total revenues exceeded expenses, a result made possible by the hard work and ingenuity of our staff and the tireless dedication of our volunteers.

Next year marks 100 years since the completion of Cherokee Castle—a place deeply rooted in Colorado and shaped by a vision that continues to guide us today. Through Tweet’s generosity and foresight, Cherokee Ranch & Castle was preserved as a lasting gift for future generations, grounded in conservation, education, culture, and community.

As we celebrate our past, we remain focused on the future. Through historic preservation, stewardship of our collections, conservation of our landscape, and expanded educational and cultural programming, we are carrying Tweet’s vision forward with purpose and a commitment to the next hundred years.

We are deeply grateful to our donors, volunteers, members, civic leaders, community partners, and patrons. Your support makes it possible for Cherokee Ranch & Castle Foundation to preserve its history, protect its landscape, and expand meaningful programming opportunities for our surrounding communities.

With much gratitude,

Greg Vigil, Executive Director
